Current Status : Prototype

  • Early Development : Many core systems are still in progress. Expect bugs and limited features.
  • Basic Mechanics : You can explore the initial simulation, but not everything described below is fully implemented yet.
  • Community Feedback : Your feedbacks and ideas will guide my development.

Planned (and Ongoing) Features

  • Dynamic World : Generate large landscapes with land and sea, populated by thousands of organisms interacting in real time.

  •  Evolving Ecosystems : Each creature has a genetic code that can mutate and create entirely new species over time.
  •  Combat & Survival : Shape peaceful habitats or spark conflicts—creatures may fight for territory or flee from danger.

  •  Resource & Currency Systems : Use Atoms and Energy to spawn entities or perform actions, and collect Items from creatures to unlock powers.

Design Goals & Roadmap

  • Expand Simulation : Introduce more diverse biomes, deeper AI behaviors, and richer interactions.
  • Feature Upgrades : Enhance resource management, evolve predator-prey systems, and refine genetic mechanics.
  • Greater Control & View : Provide in-depth statistical tracking  (ex. species populations over time) and flexible options for saving and loading specific genetic traits.
  • Optimize Performance : Work on graphics, controls, and stability to handle a growing, dynamic world.
  • Community-Driven Updates : Your feedback is greatly appreciated and will guide Mini Eco’s evolution.

I'm really enjoying this game!

I am seeing a glitch where the shapes representing energy, atoms, and inventory items are getting stuck on the screen.

Thank you so much for enjoying my game! A new update will be released in the next few days, and it will fix that bug (And there will be new animals and plants included as well). Thank you for reporting the bug!
